Leevers Locavore opened in November 2019 in a former Save-A-Lot in Denver's Highland and Northside area. It's run by Leevers Supermarkets, an employee-owned grocer founded in 1938, and stocks local, natural and organic produce, meat, cheese, bread, beer and wine, with a butcher counter featuring River Bear American Meats, partner restaurants and a bar where shoppers can sip while they shop.
